this war started out from a few people being murdered. and Germany wanted to take great Britain but Germany was also afraid that the Russians may be in there way . so Germany declared war on Russia, then the people in russia started to have war fever and started to destroy there own stuff. britain herd about the news so they declared war on Germany, leaving germany hated on. on October 29 turkey entered the war on Germany side and trench warfare started.on may 7, 1915 the Lusitania was sunk-in by a German U-boat that's how we entered the war. and we declared war on Germany on 1917.on 1918 the war ended and Germany signed a treaty america agree to all things except for one thing. when the Germans lost they lost most of their money

the weapons during the war were some of the things we have today like hand grenades gave off a powerful explosion. even rifles had grenades like a grenade launchers during this time. sometimes during this war there would be moments where either sides would be using poison gas against each other. one specific rifle that was used in this war was gewehr 98 Mauser. and lets not for get the bolt action rifles nether like the lee-Enfeild, which can have a scope attached to it so it could be a sniper rifle. sometimes on these rifles like the gewehr you can add a long knife to charge at enemies and stab them.
